As all things grow they begin to require structures that afford protection and an equal playing field for all.

We do not allow general fishing from our group for profit. We work off a value and trust principle at CPMG and while we want very few barriers to entry we want to make sure people are according themselves well and investing in the group instead of just taking from it.

To participate in any level of this you must be a member of CPMG in good standing.

Questioning Member to Mentor
If a member is looking for help and solicits help from an engaged member, for free or for profit, you should be able to without any issue or oversight.

Member Soliciting Members
If a member wants to solicit from the group via forums or at a meetup about their for profit event the CPMG staff needs to be consulted with first. We want our membership to be able to learn, even paid to learn from each other, but we don't want anyone taken advantage of.

At a minimum we will require you to have shown up to a meetup in the last quarter or be vouched for by an organizer.

With this in mind we will generally allow most forms of straight forward advertising as long as it is not repetitive, spamy, or makes people feel uncomfortable. Repeated attempts, chasing threads, or bad feedback will be looked upon poorly.

CPMG Endorsed Member Paid Event
If a member would like a CPMG endorsed event created for them we have a few more things necessary to gain the benefit of a site-wide pull.

• Introduction at a Meetup
  
• Lead a 15m lecture/educational session during that or another main meetup. (Go great & lead an event!)
  
• Accord yourself online and work to be a value to our community through participation and help.
  
• Donate 8% of your gross profits to CPMG. **If CPMG acts as a proxy for funds collection basic transactional surcharges are also necessary.
