So I am just taking my first step into selling my product offline -- I have a print I will look to hang somewhere and sell. Can anyone give me any tips or experiences in this area? Seems like I should have some basic written consignment agreement of some sort? Does the retailer usually take a cut? How much, etc? Thanks!

You should definitely have a contract spelling out everything. The consignment arrangement varies, but what happens if the work is damaged or stolen, how long it hangs, whether the retailer has any bargaining room, how long you have to pick it up if it is taken down, etc. should be addressed.
