I'm a US Army First Sergeant currently, my trained job in the Army is Information Technology/Telecommunications. I love what i do and can't see me doing anything esle for a while. Although, my road is about to end with the Army, as i just passed 20years, so hopefully photography and a few other hobbies will help occupy my time once i walk away from the Army.

Looking at going back to school. For Something in Aviation. Have also looked at Vet Tech. But I am not real sure. I have to figure out quick I turn 25 this year.

I'm a analyst for an investment management firm where I do the valuation on portfolio's. (just thankful to still have a job!) Although my dream job was to be a doctor until I got to college and failed chem 2x's. I've always been the person behind the camera and didnt' realize how successful you could be at photography until my friend who shot my wedding along with all my other friends started her own very sucessful business. ...or else I would have focused on this career path....well...once I realized I wasn't going to be a doctor :(

Now I see the "light" and doing everything possible to perfect my craft at photography

Right now I am a bored out of my mind 50 something with an empty nest and no job. Hence, I am available for daytime shooting any time someone wants to go. In my former life, I was a legal admin asst at a top DC law firm where I met my husband and raised three pretty respectable children. My advice...never marry a lawyer...they do something to their thought processes in law school!! oohhh...I'm sure to get some backlash for that comment. More recently, until I relocated here from Northern Virginia last year, I worked in the Fairfax County school system with learning disabled children. I would like to find a similar job around here but there never seem to be any openings and I have no connections. Am I whining here? Like Terri said, I'm now into discovering my creative side and have started to take my 25 year old hobby more seriously. Maybe I'll go back to school...still have half my life to go...it's never too late!!

I am a Sales Rep for Ash City Worldwide. We are a manufacturing direct supplier of corporate apparel. I have been doing this for 10 yrs. I have been in the promotional products industry for over 18 yrs! I was a distributor of promo products for 8 yrs.

I travel NC, SC and VA promoting our product line to distributors. This type of travel affords me some great photo ops as I can shoot between appointments and after hours. I have recently joined forces with a friend who creates websites and has clients throughout the piedmont. I have been able to coordinate some paid shooting for her websites during my regular work week travels.

I love this photography stuff. I have always been creative. I have done some graphic design during my 7 yr tenure at the Charlotte Observer. I have also studied drawing, jewelry making and stained glass. For some reason, photography encompasses all of the above for me. I have so much to learn. LOL.
