As I stated in the original thread I am organizing an "Help-Portrait Seniors" event. Bill Sweezy from "All for Seniors" magazine is going to help me organize this shoot. All Help-Portrait events will be on December 12,2009.

What we need:

1. I need confirmed shooters
2. Lighting gear
3. Back drops
4. Laptops

Once I have confirmed shooters and equipment. I will start the ball rolling. Bill is confident he can get sponsors to pay for most if not all the expenses. If you are willing to help or have equipment you are willing to loan for this event please post here so we can make this happen.

You can contact me on my Cell Phone-704-737-8053.

George, what about hair and make-up, you know the women will want to look their best?!
If I knew about were we would be shooting, I will check on getting a salon nearby to let us use the facilities or, even help out with the hair and make-up.
Also, about how many do you think we will be able to shoot? What size prints will we be giving them? I might be able to frame any of my photos that are choosen.

Once I have confirmed shooters I will be able to give a location. We have a lot of work to do behind the scenes so I really need people to step up and make a commitment. We are looking at approximately 150 portraits. I would like to be able to do 8x10 prints. I think any hair and make up would have to be done on premises. I would like to have at least two shooting stations if not three. It would be great to be able to shoot tethered, and would be really cool if we could project the images on a projector screen while they were be captured. It would be nice to have people editing on site. Once the images are put on to CD's I will handle the printing

George, I would be interested in helping out. Where will this event take place? I can bring, 3 400 ws studio strobes (they are old photogenic, but work great, 3 light stands, power cord, 2 shoot thru umbrellas, 1 convertible umbrella and a 42" 5 in 1 reflector. I also have an rps radio trigger, but will hopefully have a set of cybersyncs by this time. You know can just use a white sheet as a background and light it to blow it out to pure white, if we only going to be shooting headshots and they will look great.

Let me know the location details and time so I can plan on attending. Mike
