Just moved to the area in August from PA and looking to meetup with "like-minded" shooters
Somewhere between amature and pro. Worked off and on in the Photography field throughout the past 25 years.
The next theme I shoot will be my favorite.
Nikon D80, although will be upgrading soon to a D700.

"Do you hear a ticking noise when the drive spins up? If so, that's not a good sign. If you do, what you can try is remove the drive from the housing and put it in a static bag or ziplock bag and put it in your freezer over night...."

"I agree with Andy. There's some good rental services online too that you can use to try before you buy. I have two Tamrons and one Sigma and have great things to say about both. Tamron 90mm Macro and 17-50mm are both great lenses...."

likes"I'm using backblaze (backblaze.com) for my backups. It's 9 bucks a month for unlimited space. If and when you need your backups you can download a zip file, they will send you DVD's or you can have them send you an external drive...."
