When I first studied Photoshop back in 1995 (West Los Angeles College) the instructor said that it would take about 100 "hands-on" hours to learn all the commands, another 1,000 hours to be comfortable with the program and another 2,000 hours to become extremely skilled. I believe it takes about 3,000 hands-on hours to become quite facile with any skill. ”
