Introduction
Hi! Name's Nicole, Nico for short. I got into photography several years ago. My family being my inspiration at first (uncle, grandfather and father were all photographers), then the world became all the muse I needed.
Current Experience Level?
Well, I think I'm awesome with room to grow awesome-er-er (that's english, right?)
What is your favorite theme you photograph?
I'm finding it changes based on so many things (environment, new toys, an inspiring muse, etc) My comfortable blanket is still what I call urban decay. Kinda loner's work, falling down buildings, single tree in a big field, rusty cars, equipment, broken things. ESPECIALLY if nature is taking back over. It's probably cliche but I like it.
What do you shoot with?
my finger, both held into the shape of a little gun as well as pressing the shutter button of my camera. and the techincal bits, I have a Canon 20D, Minolta HTSii Plus (35mm)(My first camera, awe), Canon EOS (35mm), and some type of metal body Yashica that I literally keep b/c an old man gave it to me and said it was his first camera, you can't just throw that aside, that camera has history! and one day I'll get it back in working order.
What do you hope to get out of the group?
more knowledge, a bouncing board, more friends with similar interests.
