This meeting is designed to help you get a feel for what we are doing around the area and where you might like to put your participation. We go over the groups last month, and the coming month's schedule, review the assignment (with very mild commentary), work towards having a few quick educational segments, and then we break up for people to meet with other like minded people. During that time you can seek out leaders, SIG facilitators, other camera owners, and talk until you are ready to go, or we have to kick you out.

Everyone is strongly encouraged to participate regardless of skill level. Newcomers and novices just jump right in and ask questions. It's a pretty light hearted group, but a tremendous opportunity to learn from some very skilled photographers.
This month there is no Pro assignment, we are developing a quick survey to have you all vote for the overall / MVP of the year. More soon.
New members in the last 30d are free to join us, dues supporting members are free, and those who are just joining us to continue the revelry is $5. Feel free to pay ahead or at the door.

Please be aware of location change, check top of page, we will be at St. Johns UMC off Monroe Rd. We will be trialing this location and are still on the hunt for alternatives that we can afford. If you have suggestions please let us know. Please verify and validate your RSVP. If you cannot attend it helps us tremendously to know that. Our space requires setup and if you are not going to be there, or you are going to be there, it helps save us from additional chaos incurred.

Thanks to all the leaders and workers that put this meetup together. This was my first meet. I enjoyed the review of Dec. and the January photos. Both presentations were great - took some helpful notes. Looking forward to getting to know people and learing!! (sorry I had to run right after the presentation tonite!)

There will be no tutoring class before our meetup this evening. If you had planned on helping out move that to next month. If you like to help us setup, continue with your schedule. ;-)
