Charlotte Photography December Meetup
Meeting Location Change!! : Our meeting space has changed. We are no longer able to meet at the Well's location. This month thanks to BJ Vance we will be meeting at St. Johns UMC off Monroe Rd. ( http://tr.im/cpmgnew... : Google Map )
Yes we are in the outside building that is labeled Cambodian Mission.
Meetups:
This meeting is designed to help you get a feel for what we are doing around the area and where you might like to put your participation. We go over the groups last month, and the coming month's schedule, review the assignment (with very mild commentary), work towards having a few quick educational segments, and then we break up for people to meet with other like minded people. During that time you can seek out leaders, SIG facilitators, other camera owners, and talk until you are ready to go, or we have to kick you out.

Mark your calender, as Casey will also be doing an intense 5 hour Photoshop Workshop on Saturday, January 23rd. Details to follow, soon. Casey is a Professional photo retoucher - her clients consist of Victoria's Secret, Elle, Spin, and Vibe, to name a few.

Everyone is strongly encouraged to participate regardless of skill level. Newcomers and novices just jump right in and ask questions. It's a pretty light hearted group, but a tremendous opportunity to learn from some very skilled photographers.
Pro Members have the opportunity to win a prize for the month, check the thread for details.
Location Details, Addition
Please be aware of location change, check top of page, we will be at St. Johns UMC off Monroe Rd. We will be using this location for a while, and are still on the hunt for alternatives that we can afford. If you have suggestions please let us know.
Please verify and validate your RSVP. If you cannot attend it helps us tremendously to know that. Our space requires setup and if you are not going to be there, or you are going to be there, it helps save us from additional chaos incurred.

MMM. Sounds like a tasty meetup. I hate that I will be out of town on business. Oh well maybe I'll have some photo opps while in Lynchburg and Roanoke. Have fun!
