Southside Meetups:
This meeting is designed to help you get a feel for what we are doing around the area and where you might like to put your participation. We go over the groups last month, and the coming month's schedule, review the assignment (with very mild commentary), work towards having a few quick educational segments, and then we break up for people to meet with other like minded people. During that time you can seek out leaders, SIG facilitators, other camera owners, and talk until you are ready to go, or we have to kick you out.

Everyone is strongly encouraged to participate regardless of skill level. Newcomers and novices just jump right in and ask questions. It's a pretty light hearted group, but a tremendous opportunity to learn from some very skilled photographers.
Pro Members have the opportunity to win a prize for the month, check the thread for details.
New members in the last 30d are free to join us, dues supporting members are free, and those who are just joining us to continue the revelry is $5. Feel free to pay ahead or at the door.

Please be aware of location change, check top of page, we will be at St. Johns UMC off Monroe Rd. We will be trialing this location and are still on the hunt for alternatives that we can afford. If you have suggestions please let us know.
Please verify and validate your RSVP. If you cannot attend it helps us tremendously to know that. Our space requires setup and if you are not going to be there, or you are going to be there, it helps save us from additional chaos incurred.

Pro Member“ I enjoyed Steve's talk about High Speed Flash Sync, very useful information. Andy led an open Q & A session which included questions concerning County and State Business license and/or permits required for a photography business. Also discussed was different marketing techniques. ” -

I have not been able to meet with this club for some time due to work and photography schedule....but this was by far the BEST meeting I have been to. I wish to THANK EVERYONE that was suggesting ideas for me to get business and advertise my Pet & Family photography. I know that it took up time, but if we could have an open discussion like that for the members at every meeting, it would be great. We do meet to share our knowledge, expertise and help one-another, don't we? What better way. When one person ask a question doesn't everybody get a little more knowledge? ” -

List printed at 4:50p. Those that sign up afterwards just add your name to the sheet when you get there. We try and keep active roll of everyones RSVPs/attendance.
Last note... heheh. We'll be meeting in the recreation room which is not in the main church but behind the church. I'm sure we'll have a sign on the door and we'll be hard to miss but just putting it out there! :D
Yep, results are a dead harddrive. We'll be doing an open Q&A discussion. Share your expertise & knowledge with us, lets answer some questions from those who have them and we know many have them!
Scott's computer has taken a nosedive. He thinks the HDD has failed and that's causing some issues for tonights presentation. Personally I think it was all the Ziser folks telling Scott's computer to wait! hehe! If you have something you'd like to share tonight please don't hesitate to step up. We're already on Plan B.
Looking forward to a sit-down where I can, actually, meet some members. maybe upgrade my membership! ;)
We are still ironing out a location for us. If you have a suggestion please hit up the General discussion thread and let us know your thoughts. It is proving more difficult (and economical) than we thought.
