The Carolina Balloon Fest will be held Oct.23-25, 2009.

This event is always neat to watch and there are events scattered through out the day. George started this thread in the 'Lets Shoot' forum.

The event time here does not correlate to an actual meeting time, just a placeholder. It looks like the majority of group gathering will occur around 3p. This event spans 3 days so there are lots of opportunities if you want to work outside of those who are gathering.

I'd love to but visiting family prefer Renaissance Festival and Biltmore for the weekend. If it's a 3 day event, I might run up there today, Friday, because I "CAN", before returning to work! ;)

Be very weather conscious. Sitting here with Myra and she's mentioned that she heard from a ballooner that they might be postponing to Sunday.

I'm planing to shoot the mass ascension from the hill on the right side of the field. I will probably get to the air park some time between 1-2 on Saturday.
