It's that time of the year again, time for the filthiest game of volleyball you'll ever see! And that means it's time to see who wants to take on the challenge of photographing the filthiest game of volleyball you'll ever see!! Here's what the website says about the games:
"It's time again to get down and dirty for our 3rd Annual Mud Volleyball Tournament! Last years' tournament was wildly successful with three mud pits, 38 teams and over 200 people in attendance. The Metrolina Tradeshow Expo has graciously opened their facility to us for this years' tournament, giving us plenty of room for a day of wild and muddy fun!
We'll have five huge mud pits for all the setting, spiking, serving, mud-volleyball-playing pleasure you could ask for. We're hoping to sign up 50 teams, so get your rear in gear and sign up today for the dirtiest fun you'll have all summer!"
The astute among you will realize that with 50 teams, it doesn't quite seem right to call it "Murphy's Dirty 30." But it sounds better (and it actually has to do with the fact that the first one was on Murphy's 30th birthday), so it sticks :-).
Last year I believe we had 9 photographers, all of whom gave their photos to Habitat for Humanity to use as they saw fit. It worked as a sort of donation. I'm hoping to do the same this year with whoever wants to come out and take photos. We can even get you a donation form so that you can put a monetary value to your photos as a donation that can count towards your taxes this year!
So come on out, take some photos, have some fun, and help out a great cause. I hope to see you all out there!
