Jack Reznicki- A Photographer's Life
"If it doesn't talk, don't shoot it"
Sponsored by Midwest Photo Exchange & Epson
November 9, 2009 Charlotte, North Carolina

Such humor, wit, and more than a passing familiarity with the absurd have all helped Jack Reznicki become one of the most sought-after illustrative photographers in New York and one of the most popular program presenters in the photo community. In recent years he may be best know for his expressive photographs of kids or as he says "Kids as kids".

Jack's work is in demand by agencies representing a "who's who" of blue chip advertisers, such as Toys "R" Us, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Playtex, Hyatt Hotels, Kodak, AT&T, and many, many more.

In this entertaining and educational program, Jack will show how he takes a concept and makes it come alive in the studio. He will describe, step-by-step, from set up, to lighting, just how these shots are created. Rather than just giving formulas on lighting, Jack will explain his thought process when lighting. Concepts such as how less is more. With digital photography, Jack will go over the best way and the right way. They may not be the same thing.

Jack as often said, "Be the photographer clients hire because of the way you think, not because you're a guy with a camera." Come and see how Jack thinks and what he does with a camera. Jack will also have a Q&A at the end of his presentation. Especially his knowledge of copyright questions. Never one to duck a hot question, these are always very illuminating sessions.
